Snapchat Adds Support for One-Handed Zoom in Latest Update

Snapchat has made it even easier to zoom in on that thing you want to share with other Snapchatters.

The app has been updated recently to version 9.30.0.0, and, with it, added one-handed zoom support. Now when you open up the app to snap whatever it is you want to share, you can simply slide your finger up and away from the capture button to zoom in while you’re recording.

Snapchat has actually deemed this a noteworthy enough new feature to make it the only new addition included in version 9.30.0.0, which you can update to right now if you already have Snapchat installed.

There was recently a graph that surfaced that showed what happens in an “internet minute” so far in 2016, and Snapchat apparently has 527,760 photos shared in that very brief span of time. That number probably won’t change much thanks to one-handed zoom being added to the app’s feature list, but at least now a lot of users can get all artsy with their close-ups in a much easier way now.
